Womens Basic Pistol is our basic novice pistol course. This is the perfect class for those with no pistol experience. We will discuss basic action operation, handling, drawing & holstering, firearm components and basic marksmanship. Combat Pistol is a more appropriate class for shooters with firearms experience. Just as a defensive driving course assumes you understand how to operate a vehicle, Combat Pistol assumes you have basic operating skills. Womens Basic Pistol is more akin to drivers education and teaches basic operation. This is not a required prerequisite for pistol 1.
We train rain, snow, sleet or hail so dress accordingly. The training ground is constantly being adjusted with excavation work & construction being done on a regular basis. As such you should be prepared to train on multiple types of soil. Open toe shoes are not acceptable, cross trainers and military style boots are the most appropriate but whatever you wear ensure they are comfortable you will be on your feet the entire day.
In the event of severe weather class could potentially be cancelled. In that case you will be given the chance to reschedule to a later class given first priority for any waitlists.
Cancelation policy: When you book your class you take up the spot for someone else. If a student cancels, a refund will only be considered in rare circumstances or if the spot is able to be filled by another student. Absolutely no refunds are issued closer than 10 days to the start of your scheduled class.
Class will begin right on time so we recommend you come at least 10 minutes early. We will have an instructor on the range 30 minutes prior so feel free and arrive early if you prefer.
